Courtney Mason awarded OSU Psychology Outstanding Senior

Congratulations to 2019 Psychology Department Outstanding Senior Courtney Mason! Courtney is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and has worked as a research assistant in the Personality and Psychopathology Laboratory (and Dr. Grant’s Laboratory of Emotion and Psychophysiology Lab)

. She is a recipient of a Psi Chi: International Honor Society in Psychology Undergraduate Research Grant. This award helped to fund her undergraduate senior thesis, which examines the cognitive process of catastrophizing among those with Borderline Personality Disorder symptomology. She is interested in repetitive negative thinking and emotion dysregulation in relation to maladaptive behaviors, which could lead to improved assessments and treatments in personality psychopathology. This coming fall, Courtney will be attending the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at Mississippi State University. We are proud of you Courtney!
